so he could, eventually romp through the tall grass. I met him on the other side of the path, where he was standing with his sibling!!What a nice surprise that was!

Hi Tina, Oh--I love seeing the deer (fawns)... That 3rd picture of Mama licking the baby's neck is priceless. I can almost hear that baby saying "Quit bothering me, Mama!" ha ha

This could be a children's story! So beautiful! The lighting was so nice - so soft. It was so sweet to see that doe cleaning her fawn! Loved this!!
Tina - just found you blog, coming from curious birder - nice photos especially the pileated - a tough bird to get good looks at, though I once watched one excavating a hole - chips flew everywhere. But that is 15 or more years ago.
