Sometmes!!

Sometimes nature's best surprises are the quiet little ones, hidden in the wildflowers and grasses..who stand silently watching you as you go by..
Then there are those who blend so well....can you find her? click to enlarge

that you don't even see them until they lift their head...
..and look your way!
but the best is when YOU think you are out looking for them...and they are secretly watching you!! ;-)

Now that is cute. Of course, babies are always cute. I got a long distance picture of a mother and baby a while back but it was good enough to share since you could barely see the baby. Thanks for sharing Tina.

Wow, that last one is so cool! Catching a buck spying on you! And in a shack? What a funny photo! Great post!

Lovely post, and I can totally relate. Seeing a fawn is a precious gift!

What sweet photographs and wise words. I am seeing fewer pregnant does around, so I'm sure I'll see a fawn before too long.

This is the nicest pictures I have seen of these deer. They are so nice to have around but we don't have them here in town. I wish we did. I like that there is a place there for them to lay down and have some peach and comfort. Nice shots.

Great captures, Tina. That first picture is absolutely precious. How did the deer get into the visitors center in the last picture?

Excellent post and great capture Tina. I wish I will be able to see some deers in France for our holidays, but we never know... Here only reindeer can be seen but far North-east of the country...

Barb,
Its a stuffed buck that is standing inside the visitor's center at one of the parks I visit. It just catches your eye when you walk up to the center..
