They do seem to like your orange treat.

Thank you 'all' for visiting..it was a silly post commentary but I was thrilled to have had success with the oranges!! I never thought I would see a B O in my backyard!! Jalynn..from Jalynns windowonnature.blogspot.com told me to keep trying...thanks to her..I kept putting out those oranges!!
For more neat tips and a wonderful blog visit Jalynn!!

Fishing Guy..I think this is an immature B O...from looking at my bird guides he matches the color and markings of one!

HI Tina,
Wow wonderful, i love the three last shots a lot. I've never seen this bird but you captured it well with a nice spark in the eye... Well done. I did not know that oranges were working so well ;-)

OM Gosh! Orange you glad you finally got those buggers to partake of the oranges? Next try grape jelly... or grapes. I am having great success with that this summer. So glad for you and I just love the pictures. Congrats!

I love it and am envious. I think I bought the wrong brand of oranges as no one came.

Ha ha you will laugh at this one...I did put out grape jelly... I took one of my empty water bottles and cut it off to leave a small plastic cup...filled it with grape jelly and put in next to the orange..
a large crow flew onto the platform feeder and took the entire plastic cup of jelly into his bill and flew away!! I haven't had time to put out more!!

Your orange treat certainly attracts the birds! Your photos are so good that we will forgive you the corny (but appropriate) joke!

Hi Tina, We are home from our Anniversary trip. I'll blog about it tomorrow.

I had no idea that Red-bellied woodpeckers liked oranges. I knew that orioles did... That's neat!!!!

Hope you are having a great week.
Hugs,
Betsy
