Tis the time of the year that Holiday decorations surround us all! The reds, greens, silvers, blues and whites...but the prettiest red I've seen recently was this visitor to my backyard. He only spent a few minutes in our tree... but oh, what a beauty he was...and there was no denying that he had a gorgeous red-tail!!

I think even I could have ID this one from that superb red tail. What a special visitor for you. FAB
Fantastic observation and yes, looks like easy to ID as Frank said.... That's coll you were able to spot it and get so nice pictures! Well done!
He is a beauty, even if it's not an evergreen he is sitting on.:)Hope you are experiencing joy this season.

Beautiful and a danger! We have quite the flock here since they no longer shoot the red tails.
People have even lost kittens to them.
A very majestic bird and wonderful pictures.
A perfect Red! Great shots Tina!
He's a beaut all right. I'll be helping the National Eagle Center's Golden Eagle survey in March but we are also supposed to note any other raptors we see. It should be fun.
It is a beautiful shot of the red tail.
