Last photo with a lasting impression

This was one of my last photos of this little visitor prior to our going away. Tomorrow is our Christmas Bird Count and I had hoped that we would be graced with this little guy's presence once again...but I think this Nashville Warbler realized from the empty suet feeders that the home owners were away and so moved on to other feeders and azalea bushes! Darn!! Our weather has warmed up a bit and I am praying that he has found some additional food sources and might visit us again or possibly show up in your backyard.

Awe Tina, I'm jealous!!!! I think that the NASHVILLE Warbler should be here in Tennessee, don't you??? Apparently he started here and then didn't like us so he left!!!! Bah! ha ha.... He is a gorgeous little bird.

Have you caught back up yet??? Guess you didn't have to decorate at all this year, did you???? (That's good 'cause now you won't have to UN-decorate!)

Hugs,
Betsy

A very beautiful bird, almost tropical looking. I bet he shines on the snow.

Great shot, you're lucky to have a rare bird as visitor in the garden. I have a lot of visitors but just the common ones.

Hi Tina, what a gorgeous capture of that Nashville Warbler! What an incredible Christmas gift! I got a great Christmas gift myself. Come see my Mountain Quail I saw when getting ready to do my Feeder Watch.

We are truly blessed aren't we? Thank you for sharing the beautiful photos. I hope your CBC went well, we had a blast here in Northern California.

HI Tina,
A beautiful picture, but I think it is a bit too much centered on the bird. Did you crop it? Maybe you can enlarge it a bit....
But beautiful anyhow!!!

Tina, this may be one of the best pictures I've seen since starting this whole online birding adventure. Those colors together are stunning! That photo will win whatever contest you put it in...I'll look for it soon in an upcoming magazine!
