One of Saturdays many bird sightings was a visit from this young Orchard Oriole! I was told he was a first spring male, recognized by the black bib down to his chest. He certainly had a lot to say...so early in the morning. What a nice way to start a morning walk!

You got great pictures of this young bird. That's one of the advantages of a morning walk.
Very nice shots of the bird. The bird looks very colorful and you have also got the view with black bib.
Just lovely Tina ! They have been seen in Saskatchewan lately too..so maybe I'll get a pic of one someday..
Excellent morning sighting Tina. I bet the sound was good as well?
How do you manage to get such good photos? What kind of camera do you have?

Tina: What a neat bird, that is one I don't know.
Never seen one of these. Nice capture.
Orioles are such a treat...the orange and black always puts a smile on my face!I don't see the Orchard but the Baltimore here. And on down I loved all your birds, but the baby chickadee was just ahhh so endearing! I haven't had any nest at my house.
