THE DOG AND THE COCONUT/Camera Critters

These are photos I took back in April of this yr. when we visited the West Indies. I have a lot of great memories from this trip but I have to say this guy was one of my favorite critter memories. He was extremely friendly, cute as can be with those big brown eyes and his only desire was to play fetch...but throwing a coconut, as the toy of choice, was definitely a first for me!!

Tourist-in-training would have been a good description of this pooch's intent. We all, willingly, threw that coconut several times and he, god love him, never seemed to tire!! Look at those eyes..they are so saying...just one more time!!

Tina--thanks for dropping by my place.
Oh my--too cute--dog with coconut!
Actually this dog looks very much like a neighbor's dog--he is part lab part german shepherd. And he is quite a rascal. I can see him carrying a coconut, if one were in his yard.
